The Basque Country represents one of the largest industrial concentrations in Spain and its Quality and Technological levels place it at the forefront of Europe.
Vision/ Missons
HEGAN is a non-profit association which groups together the aerospace companies located in the Basque Country whose aim is to strength, promote and stimulate the aerospace sector. Our vision is to become an international reference as a cluster association that provides answers through cooperation to the strategic challenges of the aerospace sector.

Cluster Competence and Strategy
- Design and Manufacturing of big equipped aerostructures (Sections, Wings, Stabilizers…), and Design and Manufacturing of complete Engine Subsystems
- Components, engineering, sub-assemblies and advanced services for Aeroestructures, Engines, Systems & Equipment and Space
HEGAN works on four fronts developing actions that give value to the associated collective and on demand and interests of the same. These fronts are the 2017-2020 Cluster Strategic Challenges and are divided into two areas:
LOCAL GOAL
- 1-Strategic Challenge: Reinforce the value chain in coop
- 2-Strategic Challenge: Knowledge development in coop
GLOBAL GOAL
- 3-Strategic Challenge: Improve market positioning in coop.
- 4-Strategic Challenge: Communication and representation in coop.
