CANNAPE is a European “Coordinating & Support Action” project that was implemented as part of the European Framework Programme 7 from June 2011 to May 2013.

The EACP networking hub is a project that was implemented within the framework programme of the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. From October 2011 until December 2013, the project provided European aerospace clusters with a permanent platform for information exchange, policy studies and mutual cooperation.

When new ideas are transformed into innovative products, a highly qualified workforce is needed to produce and maintain these intelligent products. In the aviation sector in particular, basic and vocational training must, too, respond to these challenges. In addition, there are European safety requirements defi ned by EASA that must be met by all actors.

RUE AERO (Reaching Up to Excellence in Aerospace Cluster Management) stems from one of the Expressions of Interest for a European Strategic Cluster Partnership in 2012 and seeks to bring about the means to give continuity to the ECCP call.
