Push Innovation - EACP Projects

Three EACP clusters started working on the new European Clean Aviation Regional Ecosystem (ECARE) project, the transversal Coordination & Support Action from Clean Aviation. The objective is to identify technology topics, funding complementarities and synergies between regional, national and European funding programs, together with the European Aeronautics Science Network (EASN).

ABROAD, Activities & Business from Real Opportunities for Aerospace Developments, is a project that addresses the European Union (EU) COSME programme and originated from the EACP’s working group Internationalisation. It is an ambitious project aiming at the first implementation, testing and further development of the EACP’s joint internationalisation strategy.

The BEAWARE consortium connects leading aerospace clusters and support organisations in Western Europe (France, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain and Italy) with rapidly evolving aerospace clusters and strongholds in Eastern Europe (Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Baltic States).

CARE is a three-year European CSA project that fosters greener aviation and related research and development activities. Placing particular focus on SMEs and labs, this is achieved through cooperation between regional aerospace clusters and the adoption of a harmonised agenda approach.

EACP-EuroSME in brief aims at: stimulating cooperation between clusters for the definition of a common strategy on the priority areas of smart specialization in the aerospace sector; developing a pipeline of inter-regional industrial investment projects for a total amount of approximately 20 million euros, ready for public or private funding; exploiting the potential of the smart specialization to promote new efficient supply chains with a relevant focus on the circular economy.

Since 2017, the Global Aerospace Cluster Summits bring together global managers to discuss current aerospace topics, international relations, and cooperation amoung clusters.

METASTARS is a project designed to provide the most efficient services to boost the competitiveness of SMEs and to build a sustainable and representative network at European level. The project will offer SMEs financial support to develop innovative projects and to benefit from services to adapt to new technologies, to develop or strengthen their green and digital transition, their innovation potential, their internationalisation strategy towards Japan and Canada, and the upskilling of their work force.
