The European aerospace sector is undergoing profound workforce transformations. Increasing difficulties in recruiting, retaining, and transferring knowledge, combined with demographic changes, digitalization, and global competition, are placing growing pressure on companies of all sizes – particularly SMEs, which often lack the resources to compete for highly skilled professionals.
The COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated the situation, causing disruptions across supply chains, shifting employee priorities, and accelerating the loss of experienced staff to more stable sectors. As a result, the innovation capacity, operational resilience, and long-term growth of our industry are at risk.
In response to these developments, the EACP Working Groups Skills and Supply Chain & Technology, in collaboration with the EACP Coordination, are launching a joint webinar series focused on the key challenges and opportunities in aerospace employment.
We are pleased to invite all EACP members and their members to the first episode of the series, which will introduce the topic, provide key insights into current trends, and open the floor for exchange and future collaboration.
