EACP General Assembly 2026 in the Czech Republic

The European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP) looks back on a productive General Assembly 2026, held on 14–15 September in Uherské Hradiště, Czech Republic. It was co-organised and warmly hosted by the Czech Aerospace Cluster.

The EACP currently consists of 45 clusters from 17 European countries.

Over two days, representatives of member clusters from across Europe met to exchange ideas, take decisions and look behind the scenes of Czech aerospace. As one of the rare occasions for the network to meet in person, the General Assembly again provided the space to reflect on the past year and set the course for the next.

Day 1: A year of network activity

The first day focused on the network itself. The Working Groups Coordination, Internationalisation, UAS and Synergies reported on their activities over the past year and opened the floor for discussion.

The programme also included three external contributions:

  • An update from the European Cluster for Drone Innovation (ECDI).
  • A presentation by the Swiss Aerospace Cluster of “Cluster Explorer”, an AI-powered catalogue and map of aerospace clusters.
  • Daniele Violato of the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking, who outlined how regions and clusters can partner with Clean Aviation on the next generation of sustainable commercial aircraft.

Finally, the results of this year’s EACP member survey led to a lively debate about where the partnership is heading next.

Day 2: Czech aerospace up close

The second day took participants into the field. The group first visited Aircraft Industries, a.s. in Kunovice, home of the L-410, and then 5M s.r.o. The day ended at the Letecké muzeum Kunovice aviation museum, a fitting reminder of the region’s long aviation heritage.

Looking ahead to 2027

The members voted to hold the General Assembly 2027 in Birmingham, United Kingdom, hosted by the Midlands Aerospace Alliance.

We would like to thank Vendula Bělovská (Doubravská) and the whole team of the Czech Aerospace Cluster for hosting us so warmly, as well as all speakers and participants for making these two days so productive. We look forward to seeing all members again in Birmingham in 2027.
