Amidst a whirlwind of discussions and activities, the curtain has fallen on the 2023 EACP General Assembly, hosted generously by The Shannon Airport Group in Limerick, Ireland. 1.5 days filled with lively discussions, workshops and insights allowed us to further develop the EACP.

Under the spotlight was the growing significance of #AdvancedAirMobility for EACP clusters and their associated companies. Following a visit to Manna Drone Delivery in Dublin on Monday, Russell Vickers presented the Future Mobility Campus Ireland, highlighting the growing importance of the topic and introducing the EACP cluster managers to the flying of an E-VTOL.

Furthermore, challenges for the supply chain among EACP member companies were discussed based on a survey launched by our Working Group Technology & Supply Chain. International Cooperation was a third point under intense discussion as EACP reaffirmed its commitment to develop the Global Aerospace Cluster Partnership, a similar network comprised of global clusters and initiatives.

Looking ahead to 2024, the EACP is continuously trying to improve its offers for its member companies. Gearing up to not only roll out coordinated business missions, the EACP is setting its sights on amplifying its presence among EU policy makers. Paving the way for significant contributions to European aerospace policy in the upcoming election year, the assembly also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting pioneering projects like the ECARE Project of Clean Aviation.

Highlighting the developments within the EACP, we are incredibly excited to share that the Emerald Aero Group (Limerick, Ireland) has joined the EACP family. We can’t wait to work together and develop new projects and ideas.

The spotlight for next year’s General Assembly is now turned towards the south of France, where SAFE Cluster will be hosting the EACP. Looking back at this year's assembly we are excited for what is to come and see what we will be working on by then.
