EACP took part at ILA Berlin 2024!
With some of our member clusters participating with their own booth and the EACP coming together for two independent events, we look back on a very successful time at ILA Berlin2024, which took place from 5-9 June 2024.
On Thursday, the EACP got together for a panel talk on the crucial topic “Skills Gap in Aerospace: Connecting all the stakeholders”. Moderated by our Working Group Skills Lead Carlos Maio, the panel included participants from Germany, the Netherlands, and the Pact for Skills. They shared their thoughts and knowledge on the topic, providing valuable insights and inspiration for a strong and prosperous future of the aerospace sector, especially in terms of talent recruitment in competition with other sectors.
Secondly, the EACP participated in the launch event of the European Commission’s Transition to Pathway for Aerospace. As the EACP had been involved in the consultations for the pathway and is actively working on its contribution to implementing the actions and measures defined in the document, this has been another crucial event for us.
Furthermore, these aspects, measures, and actions will continue to play a crucial role in the future work of the EACP, in particular in relation to the White Paper on which the EACP is currently working on and which will be launched soon.
