The EACP had the amazing opportunity to participate in the European Aeronautics Days 2025, which took place in Warsaw from 7 to 9 May. 3 days full of impressions, exchange, and networking. On Europe Day, 9 May 9, Niklas Schilling represented the EACP on stage at the plenary session "How to build a solid aviation research and innovation ecosystem?" Together with representatives of European aeronautics research organizations and Rolls-Royce, he discussed how to secure the industry's innovative strength and skilled workforce in the long term. A key topic was how to inspire young people and get them involved in aeronautics from an early age, for example by generating enthusiasm for aviation from an early age. The importance of collecting reliable data on the mobility of skilled workers in European aviation was also emphasized, as this is necessary in order to develop targeted measures to secure skilled workers. Organizations such as the EACP can play an important role in this respect. Maybrit Brooksnieder attended and contributed to the second AERANA Stakeholder Workshop with her valuable knowledge from the ECARE project. They discussed concrete new steps to improve the alignment of national aviation research and innovation programs across Europe. All in all, it was a great few days in Warsaw, full of dynamic for European aerospace. |
