Introducing the UAS Online Project Marketplace

The EACP UAS Working Group is excited to announce the launch of the UAS Online Project Marketplace, a webinar-based initiative designed to increase the visibility of ongoing UAS projects within the EACP network. The Marketplace serves three main purposes:

  1. Enhanced Visibility: The platform aims to shine a spotlight on UAS projects currently underway, providing them with a broader audience and greater recognition across Europe.
  2. Deepened Understanding: By showcasing these projects, the Marketplace will offer insights into the key topics and trends driving the European UAS ecosystem.
  3. Collaboration and Synergy: The event will foster cross-project exchange, opening doors for new partnerships and collaborations. The long-term goal is to establish a permanent platform for European UAS projects, accessible to all EACP clusters.

Who Should Attend?

This webinar is tailored for EACP cluster managers, project managers, network members, and stakeholders involved in Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) projects. It's an invaluable opportunity for these professionals to connect, share knowledge, and explore potential collaborations.

How Will the Marketplace Work?

Up to 10 selected projects from the EACP network will be invited to present their work during the webinar. Each project will have a maximum of 10 minutes to pitch, followed by a Q&A session. Presentations should be delivered by the respective project leads, ensuring that the insights shared are both relevant and authoritative.

Application and Selection Process

Projects wishing to participate in the Marketplace must meet the following criteria:

  • Relevance: The project should contribute to the UAM/AAM sector, whether from a regulatory, acceptance, or technological perspective.
  • Maturity: The project’s funding period should have already begun and must extend beyond September 27, 2024.
  • Membership: At least one partner in the project consortium must be a member of an EACP cluster.
  • Submission: Applicants must submit a 500-word abstract detailing the project's value to the UAM/AAM economy, along with a PDF pitch deck.

The deadline for submissions is September 6, 2024. Each EACP cluster can propose up to two projects. The final selection of up to 10 projects will be made by the EACP UAS Working Group Leads and the EACP Coordinator, with successful projects notified by September 11, 2024.

How to Apply

Clusters should send their applications, including all required documents, to Robert Weist (robert.weist@hamburg-aviation.com) and Erik Linden (erik.linden@orbit.ms), with Niklas Schilling (niklas.schilling@hamburg-aviation.com) in copy.
