Product worlds
The main industry focus lies on aero structures and lightweight solutions, mainly large fuselage components, vertical tail planes and wings. Manufacturing technologies play an important role, like automation technology and additive manufacturing which is heavily increasing in Niedersachsen. Another important sectors are general aviation and special aircraft.

Best practice of International collaborations of cluster management
- Since 2009 Niedersachsen Aviation has a strong relationship with the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA) in Seattle. There is a business mission every year with a constantly growing number of participants. European companies are welcome to join the mission. Niedersachsen Aviation is the point of contact for the Seattle region for the entire EACP.
- Together with the southern German cluster bavAIRia Niedersachsen Aviation has launched the Supply Chain Excellence Initiative.
