On Monday, September 24th, the Campania Aerospace District met with the USA Delegation to promote its innovative high technology companies in the United States market.
After a brief welcome address from Girolamo Pettrone, Commissionaire of Naples Chamber of Commerce, Claudio Voto on behalf of Luigi Carrino, President of the Campania Aerospace District, gave an introduction and overview of DAC activities for the morning event taking place at the Naples Chamber Commerce in the Council Meeting Room. Relation with EACP was evidenced, underlining in particular the launch of its Global Aerospace Cluster (GAC) initiative.
During the meeting, there were several keynote speakers beginning with James Causey, Executive Director SpaceCom Expo, discussing the Italian Space Industry & SpaceCom as well as new markets, new partners, and new technologies. Secondly, Lisa Kennedy from Ceder Management Consulting gave an in-depth analysis of the US aerospace market. Following Kennedy, Jeffrey H.D. Blair, the Director of Europe Middle East and Africa, Greater Houston Partnership, spoke about Houston’s position in Texas aerospace market. The event opened the discussion about possible connection between the two clusters.
The meeting ended shortly before noon with detailed questions.
