Cluster Competence and Strategy


The Bavarian aerospace cluster covers almost complete value chains in various aerospace segments. Bavaria´s strengths are the manufacture of aero engines, aerostructures, defence systems, “more electric aircraft” components, avionics components, aircraft interiors, cargo compartment solutions, simulation & training systems, avionics, satellites, launcher components, GMES.

We offer our members:

  • Our platforms, which facilitate interaction among end users, companies, scientists, researchers and the political sphere.
  • Linking key aerospace technology players with users, thereby simulates the implementation of innovative ideas.
  • Support in applying for project financing.
  • Specialist seminars and information events that contain topics unique to particular industries and of high strategic relevance in order to actively support our members.
  • Our know-how in identifying, together with our members, areas where further development is needed and enabling knowledge and technology transfer.
