Future Aerospace Network (FAN) joins EACP
Newly founded cluster initative in Stuttgart is the EACP's 31st member.
The Future Aerospace Network in the Stuttgart area (Germany) was founded in November 2009. Walter Birkhan presented the EACP at the initiation event. Now FAN joins the EACP and brings a variety of competences to the network.
With more than 100 aerospace-related companies, the Stuttgart area has a strong aerospace focus. Additionally, several research institutions including the DLR (German Aerospace Center) and the Stuttgart University, as well as the Stuttgart Engineering Park and Technology Transfer Center Lampoldshausen provide strong support for the local aerospace industry.
FAN closely cooperates with the local industry network and EACP member Forum Luft- und Raumfahrt Baden-Württember e.V. (LR BW).
